Your Perfect Pocket Monster Tales: Z-A Super Form Based on Your Astrological Sign

This comeback of Super Forms in Pokémon Legends: Z-A has sparked widespread excitement within the community. Starting with the one-by-one reveal of newcomers before the game's release, to trainers developing strong opinions on the full lineup of Mega Evolutions, there's a lot for enthusiasts to look forward to.

With numerous of the Mega Evolutions boasting unique appearances that highlight their personalities, one thought naturally: How can link this with astrology? This list is based on a mix of intuition, common zodiac traits, and individual observations.

Aries – Mega Camerupt

Honestly, Houndour's evolution was nearly selected for this fire sign, as both are the Super Form and zodiac symbol that evoke the most fear. But, a Mega Houndoom comes across as always angry, which doesn't match the Aries vibe, known for being playful, cheerful, and impulsive. This makes Aries far more similar to Mega Camerupt, which only erupts when angered. Stay on the good side of either and enjoy a powerful ally; should you offend them, prepare to face the consequences.

The Bull – Mega Heracross

Similar to a loyal Taurus, the reliable Heracross species, whether in its standard and Super Form, has aided numerous players in Legends: Z-A. While trustworthy, both the creature and a Taurus are also battle-oriented, and – be it their companion or a strong opinion – will defend their side to the end. The thing about Mega Heracross that recalls most of my Taurus friends, however, is its unashamed love of treats. Many previous official descriptions note their fondness for sweet tree sap and how it employs its appendage to hoard it everything, which is pure Taurus energy.

The Twins – Mega Medicham

Look at this absolute royalty. You cannot tell me this creature is not the life of every party, offering an constant stream of gossip to those who wish to listen. Much like an enrapturing, gregarious Gemini, it's very easy to imagine Mega Medicham mesmerizing an whole open area with their stories. This Pokémon's official description also mentions its capacity to predict an opponent's next moves, which sounds quite like a socially-savvy Twins.

The Crab – Super Manectric

The Crab is widely considered as the most emotional member of the zodiac, a passionate sign known for frequently becoming absorbed in their emotions. According to the official info, Mega Evolution fills the creature with a “huge quantity of energy, but it's excessive for Manectric to fully control,” which sounds a lot like a classic Cancer crash-out. This Pokémon is also recognized for its capability to make a storm cloud over its own self – and if there’s one thing a Cancer is going to do, it’s spoil their good time.

The Lion – Mega Starmie

Well, did you think I was planning to pick the lion Pokémon for the lion of the stars? Aside from the fact that it would be far too on the nose, Leo is obviously Super Starmie, the star whose gams just became an internet sensation for being too glamorous (or terrifying, depending on your preference). Players couldn’t look away from the purple sea star, and that’s exactly the same energy a Leo offers to the table. Starmie is also said to be transmitting signals from its center out into the cosmos, and it’s typical of a Leo to be staging a performance, even if for aliens.

Virgo – Super Victreebel

The always-ready and constantly-worried Virgo is perfectly encapsulated in Super Victreebel, the Super Form with perpetual digestive issues. The sign famous for being charmingly judgmental is strongly reflected across this creature's whole evolutionary chain, from a perpetually surprised face like a Maiden when you tell them you don’t have a retirement plan, to its upside-down face that’s just like the emoji a Virgo posts to the group chat when all says they want to “go with the flow” rather than creating a plan.

Libra – Mega Audino

Look at this gentle, sensitive creature, who uses the feelers on its auditory organs to tell how people are feeling by their pulse. Consistently compassionate – sometimes to a fault – and striving to keep the harmony, there are many Scales who would likely appreciate Super Audino's skills. However, to be frank, it would likely just cause them to stress even more about everyone else.

The Scorpion – Super Banette

This Ghost-type is a creature with a unexpectedly sad origin: Abandoned as a doll, it became sentient through sheer resentment and swore revenge on its former owner. Per the Pokédex, Mega Evolution, “enhances its spitefulness.” That seems precisely like several discussions I’ve had with my intense Scorpion acquaintances. A Scorpio adores karma and retribution, making them the ideal pair with Mega Banette.

Sagittarius – Super Hawlucha

Each Mega Hawlucha and Archers are constantly putting on a show. As a Archer personally, the number of occasions I’ve referred to myself some version of a “playful small jester” is countless. The showiest and most attention-seeking Mega Evolution, its Pokédex entry even mentions how it “flexes to show off its strength.” I would do the exact same thing if I had a Mega evolved form, making Super Hawlucha the most apt Sagittarius match I can think of.

The Goat – Super Absol

Were you aware that a Super Absol has the power to foresee disasters ahead of time? That gives the identical energy as a Capricorn, who often always think they’re right. Interestingly, similar to a prophetic Mega Absol, they often are. It’s also the very first Mega Evolution that trainers meet in Legends: Z-A – typical of a Capricorn to join the beginning of the Super Form craze.

The Water Bearer – Mega Chandelure

Aloof element Aquarius is arguably the non-flame sign that is most like a fire sign – its sister sign is Leo, and there are countless jokes about the Archer and Aquarius being unpredictable partners in crime. Super Chandelure's dual Spirit/Flame typing fits perfectly with this, and the Super Form's general daunting aura is also extremely Aquarius. If you hadn't yet persuaded, the Super Form's description says it “draws in hatred and transforms it into power.” If that fails to perfectly {encaps
